No. Pickudu runs entirely in the browser. Your guests scan the QR code and the photo page opens instantly — no download or account needed.
How do the photos get onto the projector?
Open the live slideshow on any device connected to a projector or TV. Every new photo appears there automatically in real time.
Are my photos safe and privacy-compliant?
Yes. All data is stored on servers in the EU and processed in compliance with the GDPR. The storage period follows your package — and you can delete your photos at any time.
Can I remove inappropriate uploads?
Yes. With the moderation feature you review and remove uploads — if you like, even before they appear in the slideshow.
Can guests upload videos too?
Yes — in the Vibe and Epic packages. Guests upload short videos (up to 60 seconds) and Pickudu automatically optimizes them for playback on phones.
What happens to the pictures after the celebration?
After the event you download all photos in one go at full resolution. As long as your package is active, the album stays available online.
